Prayer Group  (6.30am Wednesday and Friday @ Church)

Our Prayer Group has been in existence for a few decades. They meet at 6.30am on Wednesday and Friday mornings at the Church and after the meetings some adjourn to the local café for coffee.

Playgroup  (10.00am Tuesday @ Church)

A weekly community playgroup is held in the church Hall. There is no charge for this and it’s a good opportunity for Mums/Dads/Grandparents to meet and for little ones to play and have fun together. Many friendships have been formed through this group. All are welcome to come along!

mainly music  (9.30am Wednesday @ Church)

This is an exciting programme where parents and caregivers bring their children for a weekly session of music, rhyme, movement, listening and more. This is followed by morning tea and a playtime for the children, allowing the adults to make friends and interact with others.

Study Groups

We tend to form study groups once a year for 6 or so weeks to study a set topic, rather than having groups meeting on a regular basis. Studies completed in the last few years have been 'The Resilient Life', 'Becoming Community' along with several from the Nooma series and the '40 Days of Purpose' series.

Men’s Group  (8.00pm Thursday @ Church)

This is a group of men who meet for social activities and organise some of the special events for church members. Activities in the past have included slot cars, movies, cooking, trip to MOTAT, Christmas Lights tour, rockclimbing, BBQ’s etc. They are fantastic cooks and have done fundraisers within the church family, cooking and delivering beautiful meals once a week over a one-month period. Coffee Circle  (10.00am first Thursday of the month @ Church)

Coffee Circle is a group of our lovely, more mature people who meet for morning tea and a chat, with a different speaker each month talking on a variety of topics. Some of them have also been involved in knitting blankets, hats and jumpers to send overseas to children in Eastern Europe in conjunction with 'Mission without Borders'.

Choir

The choir is formed prior to each Christmas to sing at our annual Choral Service one Sunday before Christmas. Further details are available in the 4th term of the year.
